Chateau de Rethondes is a stunning 17th century Chateau that will now offer a modern day hotel with a wealth of character, in a stunning setting of 47 acres in the French countryside. The Chateau is new to the market and with only 55 rooms we would advise investors to act promptly to avoid disappointment.

Chateau de Rethondes investors have the option of two investment packages; either a 10 year 10% net rental guarantee, or, a 50% share of the room rate, whichever they prefer. Investors can also take advantage of up to 7-days personal use per annum when the conferencing has not taken over the hotel. The investment is also sold with a defined exit strategy of a buy back guarantee should the investor wish to exit the investment.

One of the hurdles for those looking to invest in France can be the complications of mortgages, we are happy to advise than 50% non-status finance will be available on the project to all purchasers. The Chateau is just undergoing the final works to meet the standards of the hotel and conference company who will be running the hotel. However the rental guarantee will commence as soon as the transaction completes which is approximately 8 weeks, providing immediate income.

Chateau de Rethondes is to be operated in conjunction with the European conferencing group, Chateauform. Chateauform already successfully operate a number of chateau's in France and feel the location setting and facilities that Chateau de Rethondes offer will be a much needed addition to their group of properties. The chateau will primarily operate as a conference centre during the week, benefiting from delegates staying at the hotel overnight, optimising room rates and occupancy. Chateauform have built an excellent reputation in the conference industry and have an impressive blue chip client base.

The existing Chateau dates back to the 17th century and has been sympathetically restored to preserve many of its original features. It is currently being modernised to provide a wide range of facilities for guests. The chateau will feature a traditional French restaurant, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, gym and indoor heated swimming pool as well as the modern requirement of Wi-Fi. The conference facilities will offer an extensive range of function and conference rooms with high tech facilities.

There are 55 rooms in the hotel in a combination of Double or Twin Rooms, Executive rooms and Superior rooms. Rooms rates compare favourably against local hotels in competition with the chateau, providing leisure and conference guests with value for money.

Chateau de Rethondes is located near the town of Compiegne in the Picardy region of northern France just 45 minutes from Paris. The chateau is situated within picturesque forest land, on the banks of the River Ainse. The site was originally a monastery in the 11th century, replaced by the original chateau in the 17th century, which was used by Napoleon III as a hunting lodge. The area was also favoured by Louis XIV as it has the largest forest in France with a wealth of wildlife. Chateau de Rethondes is also just 800 metres from the location of the signing of Armistice in 1918 and the Palace of Compiegne features original 18th century paintings by the famous artist Jean-Baptiste Oudry, therefore the area is extremely attractive to tourists.
