UK Universities Ranked 2nd in the World

A report compiled from data put together by The Times Higher Education and Thomson Reuters has identified the world's top 100 universities by reputation for 2013.

 

 

Harvard remains at number one and the USA has the highest proportion of the top universities, with 40 of the top 100.

 

The UK is in second place, with Australia. The University of Cambridge has retained 3rd position and Oxford has improved to 4th place; Imperial College of London claimed 14th place and University College London 20th.

 

These highly respected universities attract students from all over the world and conveniently, the UK's tuition fees are favourable when compared to those of the USA and Australia, which are significantly higher and in some cases, over double.
