National Award for Bradford College Students' Union

Bradford College Students' Union has been awarded Further Education Students' Union of the Year 2013 at the National Union of Students Awards 2013.

 

Bradford College Students' Union Wins National Award

 

In the past year the students' union has become a central part of the Bradford College institution, positively enhancing the student experience and increasing the diversity of the union's membership.

 

The awards ceremony took place in Manchester; with Students' Union President, Piers Telmacque, representing Bradford College at the event.

 

In response to receiving the award, Piers said, "This is a fantastic result for the union and the college. It demonstrates the important and vibrant contribution the union makes to student life in Bradford. It's just great to win."

 

Bradford College strives to enhance the student experience, currently in the middle of a £50m regeneration scheme and also encourages diversity, with a strong international presence at the college, generating demand for purpose built self contained student accommodation.
