A recent survey by BBC has highlighted the urgent need for burial plots in the UK.

358 local authorities responded to the BBC's survey and this identified a number of interesting statistics. A number of cemeteries advised that they believed they will run out of space within 5 years or less.
Certain cemeteries have advised that they are already full and both urban and rural areas are affected.
The survey, however, revealed as many as 44% of the cemeteries believe they will be full within 20 years and 25% say they will run out of space within 10 years.
Local authorities are unable to cope; therefore, this has presented an opportunity for the private sector to fill the gap. With a rising population, demand is expected to grow and with limited supply, the value of these burial plots is set to rise.
