Charity, Age UK, statistics shows Cheshire East Council has the highest ageing demographic in the North West.

Lawrence Tudin, chairman of the board of Age UK Cheshire East advises "Between 2006 and 2026, the number of people above the age of 65 in Cheshire East is expected to rise by 53%, so it is vital that steps are put in place now to make sure that adequate care will be available in the future for families across the region.

St. Helens typifies the national situation of an ageing population. The age study demonstrates an increasing proportion. In the period 2001-2007 alone, the number of people aged 65 and over increased by 6.72% to 19.7%.

The Madison Care Home is ideally located in St. Helens to meet the high level of demand experienced in the area that is supported by the statistics. With Government resources scarce, the private sector may offer the solution, with care homes that can provide accommodation to both NHS and private patients. For many years this area of investment has been popular with institutional investors, however, the Madison Care Home now allows individual investors to enter this area at an affordable level.

Rooms are priced at just £65,000 and the investor receives an excellent rental return of 8% for 10 years.
