Modular Construction Near Completion at The Glass Works Newcastle

Since our last update in February, construction of The Glass Works student block in Newcastle has made excellent progress, with the modular construction near completion.

The pre-fabricated modules have arrived from China and the modules have been assembled for Block E, with the internal fit-out currently under way.

The operator of The Glass Works, CRM Students, continue to promote the purpose built student accommodation for rental in September 2015 for the 2015/16 academic year.

Student Studios Investment Completing 2015

The final release of 8 units at Glass Works are available.  With the development scheduled for completion in the summer and studio apartments starting from £55,000, they are expected to sell quickly.

Studio apartments are projected to generate up to 10% net rental return in the first year and the properties are sold with a minimum rental assurance of 7% net for a period of 3-years.
