This lovely quiet resort is most famous for its breathtaking sunsets and welcome cooling breezes; the beach is an unspoilt 4 km stretch of sand and shingle, perfect for soaking up the sun undisturbed.  Not surprisingly, Calis also has wide range of water sports on offer, or you can just sit back and soak up the atmosphere and watch the sun go down over the islands.

On a Sunday there is a traditional market, offering you a vast array of products, from clothes to carpets, jewellery to household goods and wonderful spices.  Fresh produce is plentiful, provided by the local farmers from the surrounding villages.
