An exclusive and unique resort set on the beautiful coastline of the Red Sea in Hurghada. With most of the rooms enjoying sea views, every detail has been considered within this exclusive resort to exceed tourism standards. Offering an abundance of facilities, the development will cater for the needs of guests in an idyllic setting close to local amenities. This area of the Red Sea Riviera has unbelievably clear blue waters which have gained the area a reputation for spectacular snorkeling and diving.
The resort boasts a gymnasium, swimming pools, beach bar, diving and sports facilities and a rooftop sunset lounge where guests can enjoy a relaxing drink watching the sun go down. The developer has worked closely with the Resort Development Agency to provide a complex that offers the perfect specification and the facilities required by the tourism industry, in addition to health and safety requirements which will allow the properties to be marketed through leading tour operators.
There will also be the facility for owners to exchange weeks in their property for weeks in other luxury resorts; this will enable them to take full advantage of all the benefits of owning a property, whilst giving them the flexibility to visit other destinations around the world.
The resort’s architect has designed the resort for the maximum number of sea views, whilst still maintaining the highest level of privacy. This exclusive resort will be managed and marketed as a luxury resort and the Resort Management Agency has been appointed to fulfil the services that the development will require.
For the owners, they offer a UK based account manager who will assist and deal with all aspects of the property, from the paying of bills to taking bookings etc; if required they will also check that the property is ready for the tour operators.
Hurghada is the leading seashore resort on the Red Sea, stretching for 40km along the coastline. This resort is a destination for Egyptian tourists from Cairo, the Delta and Upper Egypt, in addition to the international tourists from Europe. Hurghada International Airport has direct flights from many European cities and Cairo. Flights from the UK take approximately 5 hours. The area enjoys a year round climate with temperatures reaching around thirty degrees Celsius most of the year, making the area popular for winter and Christmas holidays, as well as the traditional holiday market.
The warm waters are populated with many varieties of coral and fish which can be viewed from the glass bottomed boats. There are facilities for other aquatic sports, such as windsurfing, kiting, sailing, deep sea fishing but, above all, snorkeling and diving. Hurghada provides a gateway to diving sites throughout the Red Sea, owing to its central location. In addition, the city is known for providing access to many uninhabited offshore reefs and islands.
According to the United Nations’ World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), tourism figures in Egypt grew by 20 per cent in 2007. The increase has fostered demand among investors looking to rent accommodation to the new influx of travelers. Approximately ten million of the 46 million tourists visiting the Middle East in 2007 went to Egypt, creating a large potential market for accommodation. The Egyptian government’s aim of achieving 14 million visitors by 2011 is thought to be achievable. The World Travel and Tourism Council estimates tourism to Egypt will grow at the rate of around six per cent annually in real terms in the next decade. The country’s government is also keen to encourage investment from abroad. Stamp duty in Egypt, along with capital gains tax and inheritance tax (for British citizens living in the UK and if property is left to family members) are all zero. There is also no tax for non-resident owners in Egypt.
