Statistics from the Higher Education Statistics Agency, on behalf of the government, have put the University of Huddersfield in 6th place for the second year running in a national league table for graduate employment.

The University of Huddersfield's record is better than both results for Cambridge and Oxford University who averaged 43 and 29 places respectively, and it has maintained its position as the top university in Yorkshire for graduate employment.

The survey for 2010/11 leavers indicated 93.5% of Huddersfield graduates had found jobs or chosen to study further within 6-months leaving the university.

Professor Tim Thornton, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning commented, "We continue to have a great record for graduate employability because of the emphasis that we place on supporting students through professional courses, our excellent links with industry and the professions seem for example in placements, and the high quality of our teaching."

Principal International have identified the potential of this university not only for students, but also for investors and has just launched an excellent new student accommodation investment of just 28 units. For further information or to reserve a unit, please click here.
