Work Begins at Design Haus 88 Residential Apartments

Construction has started on the Grade II listed Victorian mill that will house the 52 studios and apartments that will form Design Haus 88.


The construction team has been on site since the beginning of February in order to clear out the building and to begin preparing the site for the conversion process.

Since work has begun, the team has excavated the lift shaft and commenced work constructing the ceilings. The fist fix of plumbing and electrics is due to  begin this week, as contractors arrive on site to complete this initial work.


Beyond the early processes being completed across the site, work has also started on the show apartment that will be available for potential purchasers to look around when visiting the Design Haus 88 site. Stud work has started on this apartment and it is already beginning to take shape.
