Calderdale House is ready for next stage of construction as the main frame of the building begins to be assembled on site.

Since our last update in November, great progress has been made at the construction site for the new West Yorkshire care home with the completion of the retaining wall. The frame that will be used for the building has now arrived on site and is due to take 6 weeks to erect. Once this has been completed, the fit-out of the building can begin. The frame erectors are now on site and are laying out the base plates used to build the frame on the slab.

The developers for the project, TLC Care Homes, have confirmed that construction is on-schedule to deliver the building on time. Additionally, they have confirmed that should the project’s construction phase overrun by a few weeks due to adverse weather conditions or other hindrances, the financial structure of the development ensures that the commercial viability of the project will not be affected during this time.
