Spain is a long term safe investment

Some would say a correction in the market is long overdue but all that’s really happening is a stabilising of the property market making prices attractive to long term investors. There is no doubt Spain is and will remain one of the top long term investment destinations for UK and European investors.”

With the recent announcement that Principal International have become an official Polaris World agent, enquiries for Spanish property on the Costa’s have not diminished. Investors can buy substantially discounted off plan property in the Murcia region and with rental returns increasing by more than 3% in the last 12 months, according to the National Institute of Statistics, now is definitely a good time to buy in Spain. The report confirms that there is an increase in the number of holiday lettings and occupancy rates reaffirming that the Spanish holiday market is not slowing down.

To further enhance its position as a top holiday destination, Spain’s beaches and marinas have received over 500 blue flag awards this year. The marinas and beaches are subject to stringent inspection criteria, demonstrating recycling waste facilities, easily accessible amenity maps and lifesaving facilities. Principal International says this all helps to retain Spain’s popularity as a number one family holiday destination.
