Despite tough competition and continued press coverage about the more exotic neighbouring European destinations, Spain is still a favourite place to seek out that investment opportunity according to the latest studies. Although many Brits are spending their hard earned cash in places like Bulgaria and Cyprus, Spain continues to attract the more discerning buyer and is beating off the competition with ease. Whilst we may have deserted the sunny year round tourist trap that Spain is, evidence shows that we are migrating back there in droves as that’s where we feel our money is more secure. Its well established economy continues to give us the confidence that other more new and potentially unstable destinations cannot. The property market in Spain has seen some slowing down in recent months and this has meant that there are some real good buys to be had. Brits are flocking here to secure their pensions and catch the holiday home bargains before the prices start to go up again. Not forgetting that Spain was amongst the first of these popular tourist destinations to set the trend for investment buying, and it is still one of the UK’s most favourite destinations for a holiday. This ever increasing attraction makes the rental opportunities ideal for the overseas property investor and almost guarantees a return on their money. Moving away from the favourite busy costal resorts, Brits are seeking out the more rural inland opportunities that retain the Spanish charm and culture. Spain is still considered an emerging market with its vast countryside and there is no shortage of supply for land development opportunities. Further information can be found here : |
