Spain is bouncing back

Despite competition from Eastern Europe, the Spanish property investment market is still holding strong mainly due to its easy access from the UK and the British search for sun. With a travel time of around two and a half hours and the availability of cheap flights from the budget airlines, Spain still ranks high as a weekend away destination.

Low-budget buyers have previously turned away from Spain to the likes of Bulgaria after the past few years, however with a slow down in the growth rates being recorded there, investors are returning to look at the mature and stable Spanish investment property market.
